Abd Kasha (b. 1997, Jisr al-Shughur, Syria) is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, and installation. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tishreen University in Latakia in 2020.
Kasha’s practice explores identity, memory, displacement, and the human body as a site shaped by personal and collective experience. His works combine expressive painting with natural materials such as soil, ash, and earth pigments, creating a visual language concerned with vulnerability, transformation, and survival.
Kasha has presented solo exhibitions at Zawaya Gallery in Damascus, Kalim Bechara Art Gallery in Beirut, and Beit Beirut Museum. His work has been exhibited across Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, the UAE, Germany, and France, and is held in institutional and private collections, including the Barjeel Art Foundation, Dalloul Art Foundation, and Atassi Foundation.
