هدية الموج: By Walaa Katbah

في هدية الموج، تُجسِّد ولاء لحظات من الطفولة وكأنّ البحر أرسلها إلينا على مهل.... هدايا من البراءة، منسية ومحفوظة في البرونز.

تماثيلها لا تمثل أشخاصًا بقدر ما تستحضر حالات شعورية عميقة: نظرات ساهمة، أجساد ساكنة، وأشياء صغيرة تُمسَك وكأنها كنوز... بين طوق نجاة وسمكة، يتشكّل صمت كثيف، حنين لا يُقال.

ولاء لا تنحت الذكرى، بل تمنحها هيئة...  تقف أعمالها في مساحة بين الخيال والذاكرة، بين ما غاب وما يسكننا دائمًا كأنّ كل تمثال أثرٌ لزمن لم يغادرنا تمامًا.

In The waves’ gift Walaa represents moments from childhood that were slowly sent from the sea to us…gifts from the time of innocence, forgotten and placed in frames.

Her sculptures don't focus on representing people as much as it focuses on deep emotional states; dreamy looks, calm bodies, and small objects held as if they were treasures, forming a strong silence…unspoken nostalgia.

Walaa does not carve memory ,she shapes it. Her works stand between imagination and memory, between what is gone and what always stays with us, as if each sculpture holds a trace of a time that never leaves
