Skoon Stillness: By Norhan Khorshed

في أعمال نورهان خورشيد، يصبح السكون أكثر من مجرد حالة عابرة؛ إنه فضاء يتجاوز الجسد ليحتوي الروح. هناك لحظة ينصت فيها الكيان لصوت خفيّ، فيستسلم لما هو أكبر منه. عندها تتلاشى الحدود بين الثقل والخفة، بين الصلابة واللين، ويتحوّل الهدوء إلى مساحة جديدة للتنفس.

ترى خورشيد السكون كهمسٍ يتسلل مع الهواء ليستقر في القلب، فيعيد إليه صفاءه. هو ظلّ شجرة يحتضن العابر، وبراح من الطمأنينة تتفتّح فيه الروح على ذاتها....في حضرته يتراجع الصخب، ويغدو كل شيء أوضح وأكثر نقاءً ... كأننا أمام نافذة صغيرة تطل بنا على عالم أبسط وأرحب.

هذا المعرض دعوة لاختبار السكون كحضورٍ كامل، كبُعد آخر يكشف جمال الوضوح والطمأنينة، ويعيد رسم العلاقة بين الجسد والروح، بين العالم الخارجي وصوتنا الداخلي.

In Norhan Khorshed’s work, stillness is not just a normal passing state,it is a space that extends beyond the body embracing the soul. There is a moment when the soul listens to a hidden being surrendering to something bigger. Boundaries fade  between heaviness and lightness, firmness and softness,turning this stillness into a space to finally breath and let go.

Khorshed perceives stillness as a whisper carried in the air, settling into the heart restoring its clarity. As if it is the shelter of tree shade to the passengers , a safe space where the soul can unravel to itself . In this stillness noise takes a step back and everything becomes sharper and purer as if a small window had opened onto simpler, kinder world

This exhibition allows us to experience stillness as the full presence , another dimension revealing the beauty of clarity and serenity, reshaping the connection between the body and soul, between the outer world and our innermost voice.
