بعد معرض المنسيّ، يواصل مصطفى سليم رحلته في رسم الناس ...  لا بوصفهم ذكرى، بل كشهـودٍ على البقاء

الباقون هو تحيّةٌ لنبض الحياة اليومية: لأولئك الذين يعملون، ينتظرون، يلتقون ويفترقون، يحملون، يغسلون، ويواصلون طريقهم في صمتٍ وكرامة.

في هذه المشاهد، يلتقط سليم جوهر الاستمرار ... صيّادون عند البحر، نساء يغسلن الثياب، رجال في المقهى، عمال يعودون إلى بيوتهم، وأُسَر تسير متماسكة في الحياة. تتحوّل هذه اللقطات البسيطة إلى مشاهد عن الصبر والجمال الإنساني، حيث تتقاطع اليوميات الصغيرة مع ذاكرة المكان والوقت.

من خلال ألوانه الترابية وضرباته الكثيفة، يمنح سليم للأفعال العادية معنى وجوديًّا. شخصيّاته بلا ملامح محدّدة، لكنها مشبعة بالحضور؛ تتحرّك في عالمٍ مألوفٍ ومضيء بكرامة الإنسان. في النهاية، يتكوّن من كل لوحة نسيجٌ واحد... صورةٌ للبقاء، وللحياة كما هي.

The Remaining Exhibition is a tribute to the pulse of life. To those who work, wait, meet and part, carry, wash away, and quietly continue on their way with dignity

In these scenes, Selim captures the essence of continuity. Fishermen by the sea, women washing clothes, men gathered at the café, workers returning home, families moving together. These simple moments unfold into reflections on patience and human beauty, where small daily rituals cross with the memory of place and time

Selim used palette and dense brushstrokes, granting ordinary gestures an existential weight. His figures lack defined features, yet you can sense their presence ,they move within a familiar world bright with human dignity. In the end, each canvas becomes part of a larger tapestry a portrait of survival, and of life as it is
