أرض وسما: By Shaaban El-Husseiny

في «أرض وسما»، يستكشف شعبان الحسيني إحدى الثنائيات الكبرى في تاريخ الصورة: العلاقة المعلّقة بين المادي واللامادي، الأرض بما تحمله من ثِقَل الواقع وصراعاته، والسماء بما تفتحه من مساحات للحلم، للضوء، وللتحرّر.

يعالج الفنان هذا الامتداد بين ما يَشدّ وما يَسمو، بين ما نعيشه وما نتخيّله، ليقدّم أعمالًا تُعيد قراءة الفاصل الرفيع الذي تتشكّل فيه التجربة الإنسانية, المسافة التي نحزن فيها، نفرح، نُرمَّم، ونولد من جديد.

«أرض وسما» هو احتفاء بما بين الاثنين: ذلك الفضاء الذي يخلقنا كلّ يوم من جديد.

In Earth and Sky Exhibition , Shaaban El-Husseini explores one of the great dualities in the history of the image,the suspended relationship between what's tangible and what's intangible, the earth with the weight of its realities and conflicts, and the sky with its dreaminess, light, and liberation

The artist connects the space between what pulls us downward and what allows us to ascend, between what we live and what we imagine, presenting works that reconsider the thin line in which human experience is formed ,the space in which we grieve, rejoice, mend, and are born again

Earth and Sky is a celebration of the in-between, that greater space that re-creates us everyday.
